Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto, Hatsukaichi

Arriving at the hotel, we were all welcomed with warm hospitality that immediately made us feel like VIPs. The rooms were spacious, with a clever layout that transformed with futons into a bedroom divided into western and Japanese sections. The dining options were varied and satisfying, offering both western and Japanese cuisine. The location, just a 2-minute walk from the sea and the iconic Torii gate, provided stunning views of the Tori Shrine and surrounding mountains.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel, with a cozy room offering a view over the garden and mountain, although it was a bit smaller than expected. The service was exceptional, with incredibly helpful staff available, especially the catering manager. The location, though a little bit far from the jetty, was fabulous on the island, offering a serene retreat close to the Itsukushima Floating Torii and Shrine.
